We are pleased to invite all educators to TECHpalooza 2018.

As a professional educator, you provide students with critical 21st-century skills that are essential to student achievement and success. And, staying on top of emerging research and practices in educational technology is more important than ever.

The TECHpalooza team shares your vision for ensuring that your students receive the best possible education. The professional learning opportunities offered through this learning festival provide a comprehensive program for educators who are engaging with mobile devices for learning to experience exemplary practices and methodologies supported by research and aligned with the new Australian Curriculum.

We are pleased to announce that the 2018 TECHpalooza will be a held on the vibrant Gold Coast, bringing together an innovative community of more than 350 professionals representing teachers, administrators, university professors, researchers, and students.

Opportunities on site at the St Hilda’s School provide access to more than 50 learn-shop sessions that will provide interactive learning through hands-on experiences. These sessions will result in tangible skill development, with the broad conference goals including the expectation that all participants will return to their school settings with a ‘tool kit’ of resources that can immediately be implemented. This year, there will be a number of particularly strong workshop learning tracks around the Digital Technologies Curriculum, robotics, coding and creativity with mobile devices.

Keynote speakers will provide the direction and inspiration to lead thoughtful conference-wide discussion around the present and future needs of learners, helping to advance school-wide goals.

Community-building is actively facilitated throughout the event, which means that the learning and support continues long after the conference has ended. Purposeful fun is a key driver in pursuit of these goals, and you can see these strategies in action by checking out this post which gives you a feel for the 2016 learning festival atmosphere.

Additional details will continue to be posted on the TECHpalooza website at http://www.TECHpalooza.com.au

We hope to see you in October!
